Overview
The Rosebud Battlefield Tour will discuss the history leading up to an often forgotten battle during the Indian Wars. In the heart of the Rosebud valley, the Sioux and Cheyenne ambushed Gen. George Crook as he and his troops marched north to complete their portion of the ill-fated Centennial Campaign. The six-hour battle stretched across the valley as the soldiers and warriors vied for the high ground.

Join Apsaalooke Tours on a journey into the past and discover the Battle of the Rosebud.

The tour leaves from the Edge of the Camp Gift Shop at 4185 Garryowen Rd just off Interstate 90 on exit 514. After 50 minutes passengers will de-board for 20 minutes at the Rosebud Battlefield. After re-boarding the bus will circle around the battlefield and make its return to Garryowen.
