Did you know that this is one of the busiest and most well-known cemeteries in the entire world? Yes, it is also recognized as one of the spookiest cemetery in Savannah, Georgia. Many Savannah locals think that this 160-acre region has a unique vigor and energy that distinguishes it from other areas of the city. Due to its discreet location within the Wilmington River, this region has traditionally been considered the ideal spot for funerals and visiting the deceased. Nothing else even comes close to the monuments and statues found here. There are many azalea trees in this area, and everything is covered in Spanish moss, even the tombs.
