What To Expect

Orange County
Your adventure begins with your private tour guide meeting at your hotel for pick-up and transportion to the Ferry for your escorted 70-minute Ferry crossing over to the town of Avalon on Santa Catalina Island.

Newport Beach
You will arrive with your guide at the local docks to board the Ferry. The Ferry is a High Speed Catamaran which offers a stable ride and quick transportation to Avalon. You will be able to watch for dolphins, whales and other marine life on your Ferry to Catalina Island. (approx.70 minute crossing over to Catalina Island.)

Upon arriving to the enchanting town of Avalon on Catalina Island, you will enjoy a 2-hour private guided golf cart tour. You will have plenty of photo oppurtunities with the incredible views on this Island as well as Avalon Bay, Lover's Cove, Abalone Point and Pebbly Beach

On your private tour you will have a Site-by-Site Tour of the Decorative Tiles of Catalina Island. The "Jewels of Avalon". You will learn the history of the Catalina Pottery and Tile Manufacturing Plant. 1927-1937. After you have seen the tiles of Avalon we think you will agree they are wonderful architectural gems.

On this tour you will see iconic and historical landmarks on the Island such as The Inn at Mt Ada (former home of William Wrigley, Jr.) Catalina Country Club and 9-hole golf course.(former home clubhouse for the Chicago Cubs Spring training facility. (1921-1951), as well as Wrigley Memorial Garden and Monument.

The iconic Catalina Casino has been the focal point of Catalina Island's entertainment and culture since it opened on May 29, 1929. This Avalon landmark is a architectural masterpiece with its soaring murals, domed ceilings, and it's world renouned Incredible acoutics Theatre. As well as one of the largest circular Ballroom in the world without supporting pillars.

Descanso Beach Club
Descanso Beach Club is the home to Catalina's only beachside restaurant and bar and one of the last private beaches in California. It is the only place you can have a drink in your hand and have your toes in the sand. It is also home of Catalina Island wine mixer.

At last you will have 2hrs of "Free Time" for lunch, shopping before your 4:00pm departure back to the mainland.

Upon arriving back to the docks your tour guide will transport you back to your hotel.
