What To Expect
1
National AIDS Memorial Grove
Shaded beneath a quiet grove of the world's very tallest trees we will step into this peaceful, impactful and beautiful space. The AIDS Memorial Grove is the only congressionally designated AIDS Memorial in the United States and preserves some of the park's most impressive redwood trees.
2
de Young Museum
One of San Francisco's iconic museums and a modern engineering marvel. Capture of a view of the park from above in the museum's observation tower. Here we will also take a moment to admire the work of one of our most admired local artists, Ruth Asawa.
3
Conservatory of Flowers
It's always Spring at The Conservatory of Flowers where the grounds are lit up in an ever transforming assortment of colors and blooms that change with each season. We will explore the gardens outside of the conservatory, reflecting on it's history stretching back before the 1906 earthquake. The art filled promenade often echoes with live music giving these flower fields even more color.
4
Robin Williams Meadow
One of the park's most fascinating corners! Explore the lively and colorful Summer of Love history at Hippie Hill to Robin Williams lasting legacy here in San Francisco. Discover the favorite hang out spots of greats like Janice Joplin who would play her songs here on cool Summer days for the thousands gathered around her.
