Great Friends Meeting House
First, get one thing straight. They were NOT called the Quakers. They were formally known as the Religious Society of Friends. And this is where they gathered, and help to build Newport. Learn about Newports story and Rhode Island's role in religious freedom, the house was built in 1699.

Wanton-Lyman-Hazard House
The tour stops outside the old house and tells the tale of tax collectors and the revolution.

Old Colony House
We will stop outside of the Old Colony House and hear the story it played in the revolution.

Touro Synagogue
Hear about the oldest Synagogue in Rhode Island, George Washington's visit, his letter, and the story of how the Jewish People came to Rhode Island.

We wil stop in the park and you'll see a church, from the park, and hear it's story in the revolution, and learn about the sites in the park.

The tour ends at the Anchor at Bannister's wharf, you'll hear about some of the best restaurants to eat at, the history of the wharf and anchor.
