Overview
A spice tour is a must-do while you are on the island of Zanzibar, known as the Spice Island. Learn from your guide about its claim to fame during the 19th century as one of the world’s leading producers of spices, such as clove, nutmeg, cardamon , ginger, limon grass, vanilla, jackfruit ,cinnamon and so on. these aromatic treasures at a spice farm are available as powder so you can buy to the spice shop and use at your home the tour can take up to 3-hours .
During the tour feel free to ask a questions so that you can learn more about spice .
Moreover this tour is very unique because the price you pay is lower than the service you get so I just tell the travellers to work with Abdi smart tour guide to have a great experience and enjoy their holiday.
Apart from spice tour I also organize other activities that are available in zanzibar so feel free to ask me when you want to do other activities and I can help to organize for better price .

What To Expect
1
Jambo Spice Farm
You will be overwhelmed by the abundance of botanical species growing in these gardens – exotic spices, fruits, and vegetables. Many of the spices have medicinal properties and are still used by the local population to cure certain maladies. Savor different spices, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, vanilla, or black pepper. Taste a variety of fruits ranging from the rose apple to the guava. Some rare plants like henna, perfume tree and lipstick tree are used for their value in preparing cosmetics. Tour guides will take you on a walking tour of the spice farms at Kizimbani or Kidichi; picking bunches of leaves, fruits and twigs from bushes and inviting you to smell or taste them to guess what they are. Pretty much all the ingredients of the average kitchen spice rack are represented – cinnamon, turmeric, garlic, ginger, chilies, black pepper, nutmeg, cloves and vanilla – the list goes on and on.
