What To Expect
1
Death Valley National Park
Death Valley National Park is mythical for its name and its strong heat recorded during the summer months. Located just over 190 kilometers from the lights of Las Vegas, this beautiful park offers breathtaking scenery. After a trip of about two hours, you will arrive on site and start visiting the park making numerous stops to take photos and short walks accessible to all. During the itinerary, you will climb to more than 1,500 m to contemplate the valley from the Dante’s View viewpoint. But you will also descend to nearly 85 m below sea level to discover the Badwater basin. At lunchtime, you will take a break for a picnic: Sandwich or salad, fresh fruit... (option to choose) and, after regaining strength, you will head towards the dunes of Mesquite Flat. After all these discoveries, you will head to the ghost town of Rhyolite before returning to Las Vegas.
2
Rhyolite
City founded in 1904 during the Gold Rush. It reached its peak in 1908 and was suddenly deserted for economic reasons. Now a ghost town, the buildings of the time still standing testify to this sudden desertification.
