Valley of Fire State Park
Valley of Fire is located in the Mojave Desert, 58 miles Northeast of the Las Vegas Strip. This breathtaking valley is the oldest State Park situated in Nevada. The centerpiece of the park's attractions are the amazing sandstone formations that look like they are on fire when they are touched by the rays of the sun. The name Valley of Fire comes red sandstone formations, the Aztec Sandstone, which were shaped from shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago. If you choose to visit this little piece of heaven, you'll admire beautiful sites and step on the place were legendary movies like Star Trek were filmed. Also, this tour gives you the opportunity to go on a 3 hour hike and find out amazing new things from the visitor center.
